Privacy Notice

Effective date: August 11, 2026 ยท Last updated: August 11, 2026

This notice describes how BuyerVoice LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with the website at surgeryvolume.com (the "Site"). Please read it together with the information on the Site describing where our published data comes from.

1. Scope

This notice applies to the Site only. It does not apply to any other website, including websites operated by third parties that we link to, and it does not apply to the physicians, practices, or organizations described in the data we publish.

The Site does not offer accounts, logins, registration, forms, surveys, or purchases. We do not ask visitors for their name, contact details, health status, condition, or reason for visiting.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide to us

The only way to provide us with information is to send us an email. If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any information you choose to include in it. We use that information to respond to you and to keep a record of the correspondence.

2.2 Information collected automatically

We use website analytics software that we host ourselves on infrastructure we control. When you view a page, it records:

The temporary identifier is derived using a value that we replace every month. After it is replaced, visits recorded in different months cannot be connected to one another. It is not shared with, and does not correspond to any identifier used by, any other website.

We do not store your IP address. Our hosting provider processes IP addresses transiently in order to deliver pages to your browser. We do not maintain raw web server access logs.

2.3 Information we do not collect

3. How we use information

We use the information described above only to:

We do not use the information described above to build profiles of individual visitors, to target advertising, or to make decisions about any individual.

4. How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used in United States state privacy laws. We do not disclose personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or advertising networks.

We disclose information only as follows:

We publish aggregate traffic figures from time to time. Aggregate figures identify a city only when at least 50 visits to the Site came from that city during the period reported.

5. Cookies, tracking technologies, and opt-out signals

The Site does not set cookies for advertising, analytics, or identification. Because the Site sets no cookies, it does not present a cookie consent banner.

Do Not Track. Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to it. The Site does not track visitors across other websites or over time, so the practices a Do Not Track signal is intended to limit do not occur here.

Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. Because we do not sell or share personal information, honoring the signal does not change how the Site operates.

6. Data retention

We retain aggregate traffic records for as long as we operate the Site. We do not currently apply a fixed deletion schedule to them. Because the identifier described in section 2.2 is replaced monthly, older records cannot be connected to newer ones.

We retain email correspondence for as long as necessary to respond to it and to maintain a record of the exchange.

7. Security

We maintain administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect the information we hold, including transport encryption for all traffic to the Site and access controls on our analytics infrastructure. The Site collects no account credentials and no payment information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, to opt out of its sale or of targeted advertising, and to appeal a decision we make about such a request.

An important practical limitation. Except for email correspondence, we do not hold information that identifies you or that we can connect to you. If you send us a request about your browsing of the Site, we will generally be unable to locate any record associated with you, because none exists in a form that can be looked up by name, email address, account, or device.

To make a request, or to appeal a decision on a request, email . We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

9. Consumer health data

Some state laws, including Washington's My Health My Data Act, regulate "consumer health data", broadly defined as personal information linked or reasonably linkable to a consumer that identifies that consumer's past, present, or future physical or mental health status.

We do not ask visitors about their health, and we do not collect, use, sell, or share information that identifies a visitor's health status. The Site collects no name, account, email address, or persistent identifier in connection with page views, and does not transmit page views to any third party.

The statistics the Site publishes describe procedures reported by clinicians to a federal program. They are information about clinicians, drawn from public government records, and are not information about visitors to the Site.

10. Links to other websites

The Site links to third-party websites, including government data sources. Following a link takes you to a website we do not operate and that is governed by its own privacy notice. As with any link on the web, the operator of the destination site may be able to see that the visit originated from our domain. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any website we link to.

11. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address in section 14 and we will delete it.

12. Visitors outside the United States

The Site is operated in the United States and is intended for users in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, the information described in this notice is processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

13. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. If we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described at the top of this page.
